From intern to a permanent member of the team: welcome, Ferre!

At Reynders, we consciously invest in young talent. Not only because we believe in the power of innovation, but also because we think it’s important to pass on our expertise to the next generation. Ferre’s journey is a great example of this.

Dual learning in practice

For the past two years, Ferre has followed a dual learning programme in collaboration with Sint-Ferdinand Secondary Schools in Lummen. In concrete terms, this meant: four days a week working on site, one day at school. An intensive but extremely valuable project, in which he learned under the guidance of our colleagues how things really work in the world of structural work and renovation.

Thanks to this professional guidance, mutual trust and a strong dose of commitment from Ferre himself, he grew both technically and personally. He developed not only professional knowledge, but also the right attitude to become a reliable colleague on the site.

From trainee to permanent employee

After a well-deserved summer holiday, we welcomed Ferre with open arms as a permanent member of Team Reynders. We are proud of his trajectory and look forward to seeing him grow further within our family. “It is great to see young people like Ferre finding their way in the work field. With the right framework, good guidance and room to learn, opportunities for sustainable employment arise. That is good for our team and for the sector in general,” Stefan Timmermans said.

Young talent as a strategic pillar

Ferre’s trajectory shows how cooperation between education and business pays off. At Reynders we continue to invest in similar learning paths, under the motto: construction looks further. Young people who want to work on great projects, get the chance to grow, discover themselves and use their talents in practice.

Good luck, Ferre, and welcome to team Reynders!
