Reynders NV is a limited liability company under Belgian law, with its registered office at Centrum Zuid 2049 in 3530 Houthalen, registered under number 0411 630 683.
Reynders NV is a company active in buildings, civil engineering and interior works and is part of the Eiffage Group.
Reynders NV attaches great importance to a safe, transparent and confidential collection and processing of your personal data. In particular, we want to protect the data of, among others, our customers, subcontractors and suppliers against loss, leaks, errors, unauthorised access or unlawful processing.
We would like to inform you by means of this Data Protection Notice about the collection and processing of your personal data.
We ask that you read this Data Protection Notice carefully, as it contains essential information on how we process personal data. In addition, this notice also describes the use of cookies.
By submitting personal data, for example by filling in the fields on the website or by requesting information, you expressly declare that you have read the Data Protection Notice and all its conditions and restrictions and you agree to them, as well as to the processing itself.
This Privacy Notice may be amended at any time. Please therefore consult it regularly.

When collecting and processing your personal data, we respect Belgian data protection legislation as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as of its entry into force.
2. Scope
This Data Protection Notice applies to all services provided by us and in general to all activities we carry out. Among others, this Notice applies to all our current and past customers, prospects or persons expressing interest in our products and services, our subcontractors and suppliers, as well as all persons interested in working for us.
3. What Personal Data do we process?
According to your activities and your relationship with our company, you will communicate our following personal data:
Data of natural persons
Name, first name, title, postal address, delivery address, telephone and/or mobile phone number; e-mail address, bank account number, …
For the processing of personal data relating to the recruitment and selection of personnel, we will also register the gender, language, date of birth, driving licence, family composition and identity data of the family members, education, and possibly professional experience and/or competence, as well as the additional information you provide us with, e.g. by means of your CV.
For certain specific legal obligations (electronic attendance registration, Dimona declaration, 30-bis declaration of works), you may have to provide us with additional data (such as ID data, Limo number, posting number, etc.).
Company data
Besides company name, address, VAT number, bank account number, certain contact person or employee data will also be processed: name, first name, title of address or gender, language, date of birth, address, telephone and/or mobile phone number, e-mail address.
Please note that you are naturally responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your data. The communication of false identities, incomplete or incorrect data, or the communication of data belonging to third parties without their consent may lead to you being denied access, temporarily or permanently, to all or part of our website. If your details are no longer up-to-date, please inform us immediately.
Furthermore, please note that as a user of our website, you are not obliged to communicate your personal data or to consent to their processing, but you understand that this may make the provision of certain services or cooperation impossible.
4. Purposes of collecting and processing personal data and legal grounds
Customer data
As part of our services and activities, we collect the business data of our customers and contractors, as well as the identity and contact data of their staff, employees, appointees, service providers, and other useful contacts.
The purposes of this processing are the performance of agreements, customer management, accounting and tax obligations and direct marketing activities such as sending promotional or commercial information, answering your queries and information exchange.
These data are processed as appropriate on the basis of your request, the performance of the agreement, the fulfilment of legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. 30 bis declaration of works) or on the basis of our legitimate interest.
Data of suppliers, subcontractors and service providers
We collect and process the business data of our subcontractors, suppliers and other service providers, and their subcontractor(s) (if any), as well as the identity and contact data of their staff, employees, appointees and other useful contact persons.
The purposes of this processing are the performance of agreements, management of suppliers/subcontractors/service providers, accounting and tax obligations and direct marketing activities such as sending promotional or commercial information, answering your queries and information exchange.
These data are processed as appropriate on the basis of your request, the performance of the contract, the fulfilment of legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. 30 bis declaration of works, the electronic attendance registration check in at work, the attendance list or other public procurement obligations, legal accounting and tax obligations) or on the basis of our legitimate interest (such as for direct marketing or information exchange).
For electronic attendance registration, E-ID data or the Limosa and/or posting number are also processed in such cases. For direct marketing activities by e-mail (e.g. invitation to events or newsletter) or via registration on our website via the fields provided for this purpose, prior consent will be requested and can also be withdrawn at any time.
Data of staff and potential candidates
Within the scope of our personnel management and payroll administration, we process the personal data of our employees, self-employed persons performing certain services for us, interims, trainees or students, as well as the data of their family members where applicable.
Given its specific nature, this processing is regulated more comprehensively in the Employee Data Protection Policy.
Within the scope of our personnel management, we also process the data that you voluntarily provide as a candidate (job applicant) or interested student (e.g. following a job fair): identity and contact data, gender, language, date of birth, education and possibly professional experience and/or skills, follow-up of the selection process, as well as other information that you provide us with, e.g. through your CV.
These data are processed, as the case may be, on the basis of prior consent, the performance of the contract or on the basis of our legitimate interest.
Other data
Besides data of customers, suppliers, subcontractors, service providers, staff and candidates, we also process personal data of others, such as potential new customers/prospects, useful contacts in the context of our activities, network contacts, contacts of experts, etc.
We may also store and process your responses or feedback received from you in the context of satisfaction or market surveys, as well as any complaints you may have addressed to us regarding the goods you have purchased or the work we have carried out.
This data is processed on the basis of your consent, the performance of the contract or our legitimate interest.
We process personal data for the technical and functional management of our website, to personalise our website and to ensure that the website is easy to use.
To this end, we may process data such as your IP address, the pages you visit, the browser you use, the websites you previously visited, geographical data such as your preferred language and the time and duration of your visit. We do this e.g. by means of cookies (see also below “Cookies”).
This data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest to improve our website and protect it against, among other things, cyber attacks.
Reynders NV is in no way liable for the use made by third parties of the personal data of you as a visitor to the website. For example, the Website may contain links to third-party websites or advertisements by third-party advertisers through which personal data are collected.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of text (file) that is placed in the browser of your computer or mobile device by the server of a website when you visit that website and are stored in the folder of your browser. They contain information such as e.g. the visitor’s language preference, so that he does not have to enter the information again the next time he visits the same website. Functional cookies
These are cookies that are necessary for the functioning of our website. This is then mainly for storing your login details and preferences. Functional cookies are first-party cookies.
Why do we use cookies?
Reynders NV uses necessary functional cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to identify users. To use the application (applying for a job, logging in), cookies have to be accepted.
In principle, cookies pose no risk to your computer because they are text files and not executable programmes.
If you wish to modify or block cookies, you can do so via your browser settings.
Please note that certain graphics may not appear nicely, or you will not be able to use certain applications if you disable cookies.
6. Duration of processing
Personal data will be kept and processed for a period necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual or non-contractual relationship we have with you.
Reynders NV will not store the above-mentioned data longer than necessary for its own operation.
7. Access to and transfer of your personal data
We grant access to your personal data to our employees, staff and appointees for the purpose of processing them. They are obliged to treat it confidentially and may only use it for the purposes for which the data were provided.
Reynders NV may share your data with other companies connected to Reynders NV and/or its parent company Eiffage SA. Furthermore, Reynders NV uses third parties to carry out certain (processing) activities, such as IT suppliers, accountants, auditors, cloud providers, social secretariats, as well as the government (e.g. attendance registration, government contracts, social inspection,…), to whom your data can or must be communicated.
Your personal data will not be passed on to recipients outside the European Union.
The employees, managers and/or representatives of the above-mentioned companies, service providers or institutions and the specialised service providers appointed by them must respect the confidential nature of your personal data and may only use these data in the context for which they were provided.
If necessary, personal data may be transferred to other third parties. This may happen in the context of a full or partial reorganisation, a transfer of our activities or in the event of bankruptcy. It is also possible that the data may be provided to other parties pursuant to the law or a court order.
In this case, we will endeavour to make every effort to inform you in advance. However, you will understand and acknowledge that this is not always technically or commercially feasible or that any legal restrictions will apply. Under no circumstances will we sell your personal data, nor will we make your personal data available to direct marketing agencies or similar service providers, without your prior consent.
8. Security
Your personal data will be treated confidentially. Reynders NV makes every effort to take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against any destruction, loss, falsification, unauthorised access or erroneous notification to third parties as well as any unauthorised processing; it will do so by means of firewalls, secure servers, back-ups, etc., as well as by means of a security policy for its employees (access restrictions, procedures, etc.).
The personal data you provide via the website are not stored on the Internet, but may be stored on the Reynders NV servers in Belgium and/or in France for certain data provided to the parent company.
You acknowledge and accept that the transmission of personal data via the Internet is never without risk and consequently the damage you would suffer directly or indirectly due to the unlawful use of your personal data by third parties can never be recovered from Reynders NV.
9. Your rights: Right of inspection, correction, and information, right to forgetfulness, right of transferability and right of objection
In accordance with the provisions of privacy legislation and more specifically the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a legal and free right to request access to your personal data processed by Reynders NV, to check them, have them corrected or completed.
You also have the right to be forgotten in the cases referred to in the regulation (data erasure or data limitation). We may refuse to do so if this data is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, the performance of a contract or our legitimate interest, as long as this data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In case of dispute regarding the processing of your personal data, you may request that we restrict its processing until the dispute is settled.
Finally, you have the right to portability of your personal data: you have the right to receive the personal data relating to you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable form. You have the right to transfer these data to another controller.
You can always oppose, for legitimate and serious reasons, the use of your personal data. However, you cannot oppose the processing of your personal data necessary in the context of the performance of a legal obligation, the performance of a contract. You always have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes as well as the use of marketing profiles based on your personal data. You also have the right to oppose the transmission of your data to third parties for the same marketing purposes.
If the processing of your data is based on consent, you also have the right to withdraw it. These personal data will then only continue to be processed if we have another legal basis for doing so.
Your request for objection, correction, deletion regarding the processing of your personal data can be sent by e-mail to Renilde Arckens, info.reynders@eiffage.com or by post at the above address. Reynders NV cannot process your request without proof of your identity.
We make every effort to handle your personal data in a careful and legitimate manner in accordance with the applicable regulations. Should you nevertheless feel that your rights have been violated and you would not be heard within our company for your concerns, you are free to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority: Commission for the Protection of Privacy: commission@privacycommission.be.
You may additionally apply to a court if you believe that you would suffer damage as a result of non-legitimate processing of your personal data.
